"Waiting On" Wednesday #6: Life Altering Beautiful by T.A. Hardenbrook & Beauty's Daughter by Carolyn Meyer

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I am eagerly anticipating the release of Life Altering Beautiful by T.A. Hardenbrook and Beauty's Daughter by Carolyn Meyer!

 Title: Life Altering Beautiful

Author: T.A. Hardenbrook

Series: NA

Publisher: Self-Published

Expected Publication Date: August 15, 2013

Description from Goodreads:

*Disclaimer* This book contains foul language and sex; however if you enjoy that kind of thing then your in for a treat! Happy reading!

Keeping secrets is easy; not falling in love is the hard part. Running away from her past Seven was bound and determined to make a new life. She moved halfway across the country to a school where she hoped to fly under the radar. What could possibly go wrong if she just kept her life quiet?

Stone has no interest in commitment. Dating always seemed to lead to broken promises and heartbreak, keeping it simple was easier on everyone. But then in the middle of his crazy world he meets this girl, and somehow the universe aligns leaving him wanting more. How can he make her see that it’s okay to trust again; how does he combine his two lives and make both of them worthy enough to be with her?

If love is all that someone needs, then why are there so many broken souls in this world? Can one individual really make a change for the better and make peace within themselves and others? When two souls collide can they save each other?

I heard of Life Altering Beautiful by T.A. Hardenbrook from a book blog on facebook, and the cover caught my interest (gorgeous book cover). I started keeping up with the teasers T.A. Hardenbrook was posting about the book, and had to add it to my TBR pile. Now, I can't wait for it's release in August!

Title: Beauty's Daughter: The Story of Hermione and Helen  of Troy

Author: Caroyln Meyer

Series: NA

Publisher: Harcourt Children's Books

Expected Publication Date: October 8, 2013

Description from Goodreads:

What is it like to be the daughter of the most beautiful woman in the world? Hermione knows . . . her mother is Helen of Troy, the famed beauty of Greek myth. Helen is not only beautiful but also impulsive, and when she falls in love with charming Prince Paris, she runs off with him to Troy, abandoning her distraught daughter. Determined to reclaim their enchanting queen, the Greek army sails for Troy. Hermione stows away in one of the thousand ships in the fleet and witnesses the start of the legendary Trojan War.      In the rough Greek encampment outside the walls of Troy, Hermione’s life is far from that of a pampered princess. Meanwhile, her mother basks in luxury in the royal palace inside the city. Hermione desperately wishes for the gods and goddesses to intervene and end the brutal war—and to bring her love. Will she end up with the handsome archer Orestes, or the formidable Pyrrhus, leader of a tribe of fierce warriors? And will she ever forgive her mother for bringing such chaos to her life and the lives of so many others?

I will basically read anything that has to do with Greek Mythology, because I love Greek Mythology :D!
