We're kind of making up the rules as we go along, new ones that fit us.

Lauren Blakely has blown my mind with the second and last installment in the No Regrets Series! Every Second With You starts off where The Thrill of It left off. We get both Harley and Trey's POV- I LOVED reading from Trey's POV.

I no longer feel like a girl leading a double life. I am one girl; I am whole.

In The Thrill of It, Harley was addicted to being a call girl because she loved the control it gave her over men. We also saw how she started to improve in her addiction little by little. By the end she was a new Harley. I loved watching her character grow in The Thrill of It, but I loved reading about the new Harley. In Every Second With You, Harley is at ease, confident, more sure of herself, happy, and I just loved watching her be strong with the situations she faced. I loved that she has finally stood up to her mother- worst mother EVER- and that she never let's her take control of her life again. Harley has become one of my favorite characters :).

I'm going to face up to the future like a man, and I'm going to be the man she needs.

In the Thrill of It, Trey was addicted to sex, because this helped him escape the pain memories of his brothers brought him. We saw some development in Trey's character in The Thrill of It- not as much as Harley- but in Every Second With You we see how much Trey's character develops into the most amazing guy! There were a few scared Lauren threw in the story with Trey's addiction, and I seriously thought I was going to slap the hell out of him. I loved Trey's character more in Every Second With You. Why? We get to see the sensitive, sweet, strong, responsible, caring side of Trey, but we also get the hot, sexy, and naughty side that I love! In Every Second With You I felt a deeper connection to Trey's character, especially the last few chapters from his POV.

With the press of my lips against hers, I am telling her I cherish her. As I taste the soft underside of her bottom lip, I am saying always. As I cup her cheek and bring her near, I am letting her know that my love for her is boundless.

Harley and Trey's relationship hits just a few bumps in the road when their past tries to sneak right up to them. The first bump in their relationship is when Harley tells Trey she is pregnant. We all know that Trey's addiction was caused by the death of his baby brothers, so Harley's pregnancy strikes a cord in him that brings those memories back to the front of his head. We see Trey face his fears with Harley's pregnancy, and I loved how he grew strong by facing these fears. I don't want to mention the other bumps in the road that almost fractured their relationship, because Lauren did an amazing job in throwing these twists in the story- my jaw dropped to the floor with one of these. I seriously cried a few times because I couldn't believe what was happening. Now, Trey and Harley's relationship in the sex department is just SMOKING HOTTTTT! I seriously don't know how many times I found myself fanning myself and reaching for a glass of cold water. I just love Harley and Trey's relationship because they found this strong, sweet, hot, addictive, hopeful love in the most unexpected place and turned it into an everlasting ugly beautiful.

Every Second With You by Lauren Blakely took me on an emotional rollercaoster ride. I can't remember the last time that my emotions have been so over the place. There is love, addiction, heartache, hope, and a lot of hot sex! Every Second With You has become one of my favorite reads of 2014 and one of my favorite second installments in a series. The NO REGRETS SERIES is a MUST READ! Valentines Day is coming up and if you don't know which book to read, then I highly recommend Every Second With You :).
